PX is a repository for pieces of code written in PHP. Like PHP, code in the PX is meant
to be freely available and redistributable. The PX won't be super
useful to you if you aren't familar with PHP, a powerful, open-source,
server-side web programming language. Learn more about PHP at http://www.php.net/.
How can I add code?
If you don't have a PX User ID, get one
here. Then, point your
browser at the Add Code page.
How can I rate code?
If you don't have a PX User ID, get one here. Then, when you're logged in, you'll be
able to rate a piece of code whenever you're looking at its detail
page.
My code doesn't fit into any of the existing sections!
The section hierarchy is only carved in SQL, not stone. Leave some feedback on the comments page saying what
your code does and what new section you think it would fit in.
I submitted some code a while ago, and now I have a better version
of it to submit!
Log in to the PX using the login link on the top of the page. Then, click on the edit your PX link on the top of the page. You'll see a list of the code you've submitted and you can edit each piece of code.
How can I change my PX password or e-mail address?
Log in to the PX using the login link on the top of the page. Then, click on the edit your PX link on the top of the page. From there, click on the Change Your E-Mail Address link or the Change Your Password link.
I couldn't find any code that does X! Waaah!
The PX is only as good as the code people contribute. Since no one has
contributed a solution to problem X yet, why not submit your
code after you write it?
