A handy database and recordset class for the informix driver, for PHP3 and PHP4. Isolates your code from the Informix-specific driver syntax. Should be easily adaptable to other SQL databases.

ODBC char converter Ryan Cutter -- 9711 1999-06-22 09:21:53 [ show ]
This function will convert characters that ODBC queries have trouble with (apostrophe, quotation mark, back slash) to their HTML special character equivalent before being sent through an SQL query. I wrote this function because the replace function included with PHP threw a lot of exceptions for me.
odbc_fetch_array() function 1.0 Raven -- 7666 2000-08-01 22:18:05 [ show ]

A simple sybase query w/ navigational control(i.e. [ 1 2 3 ....]), may also work w/ mysql and mssql by changing the sybase function into mysql or mssql(haven't tested yet). This code uses the data_seek and fetch_object function w/c is also available in mssql and mysql. Please let me know if you found any bug in this code or if it is compatible w/ mysql and mssql.

Sybase Query With Navigational Control 1.0 Edsel V. Palmon -- 3146 2001-12-28 02:24:54 [ show ]
A simple sybase query with navigational control(i.e. [1 2 3 ....] google style) with first-previous and next-last link. This code may also work on mysql and mssql by changing the sybase functions (i.e. sybase_data_seek and sybase_fetch_object) since these 2 functions are also available on mysql and mssql(haven't tested it yet w/ mysql and mssql). Please let me know if you found bug on this code and if it works properly with mysql and mssql.
